G1000 is made of 65% artificial fiber and 35% cotton and is carefully woven. It is light and wear-resistant, quick-drying and water-repellent (not completely waterproof), sun-resistant and mosquito-proof, and has multiple functions. Kånken No.2 is made of Heavy Duty, which has the highest coefficient among G1000, so it is relatively more resistant to wear and tear. In addition, G1000 can also be used with Fjällräven's Greenland wax. Waxing key areas can enhance its windproof, waterproof and wear resistance.
